Gemilang NTB: Promoting Culture and Tourism in Lombok

Jakarta, InfoPublik – Indonesian Ministry of Industry held Gemilang NTB exhibition which aimed at promoting nature and culture of Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) on 2 to 6 December 2019.

Head of West Nusa Tenggara Tourism Agency Lalu Moh Faozal said in Jakarta on Tuesday (3/12) that this activity is held in collaboration with tourism stakeholders in NTB. The event is expected to be reference for tourists who plan to spend holiday in Lombok.

"Gemilang NTB is an expo of NTB's superior products as well as tourism promotion. This event is a cooperation between Indonesian Muslim Entrepreneurs Association (IPEMI), NTB Provincial Government and NTB’s National Crafts Council. This event is also supported by Ministry of Industry," said Faozal.

In this event, Deputy Governor of NTB Sitti Rohmi Djalilah was awarded the title of IPEMI’s Inspiring Woman of the Year 2019.

"The theme of the event is “NTB Nuansa Tanpa Batas”. We involve various leading tourism industries and MSMEs in West Nusa Tenggara. We showcase woven and batik , fashion, handicraft, culinary, as well as tourism in NTB," he said.

Faozal added, Gemilang NTB could be reference for tourists who plan to spend their vacation in Lombok.

"We are promoting superior destinations in Lombok, such as nature, tourist villages, and many more. For those who want to visit Lombok are recommended to seek information from this event to help them make the best out of their vacation," said Faozal.
