2019 SEA Games, Minister to Inspect Indonesian Logistics Kitchen

Jakarta, InfoPublik – Youth and Sport Minister Zainudin Amali and Indonesian Contingent Chief de Mission Harry Warganegara conducted inspection on logistics for Indonesian athletes during the 2019 SEA Games. As reported by the Youth and Sports Ministry on Saturday (30/11), Minister Zainudin visited the Indonesian contingent's logistics kitchen in New Port, Manila, the Philippines. He ensured that the logistics supports for Indonesian athletes are well met.

Previously, there has been found an issue on 2019 SEA Games food for Indonesian athletes. "Today, I inspected the kitchen of logistic supports for Indonesian contingents for the 2019 SEA Games. Everything was good. I also had the chance to taste the food. It turned out to be delicious, especially the sauce," he said.

While in the Philippines, Zainudin will review the condition of Indonesian athletes firsthand. He hoped the concentration of the athletes will not be disturbed by non-technical problems. He will also coordinate with the Chief de Mission to maintain the condition of the athletes.

"In addition to inspecting the food logistics for the athletes, I will also watch a few matches. I hope the athletes could focus entirely on the matches. I will keep coordinating with the Chief de Mission to monitor the progress of the athletes during the events,” he concluded. (Translator: Erik Limantara)
