Kudus, InfoPublik - Manpower Minister, Hanif Dhakiri, in a working visit in Kudus, Central Java, urges the gap in the employment sector to be reduced.
The Minister still finds many gaps, especially in the matter of remuneration. "The gaps do exist. The problem now is how to reduce those gaps," said Minister Dhakiri on Sunday (2/28).
Currently, the Government is preparing a regulation derived from the Government Regulation Number 78 Year 2015 on Remuneration. The rule is concerning on the structure and the scale of wages.
He stated that the wage gap may occur. Companies generally distinguish wages between the high and low skilled workers. "We avoid a wide gap. Discrimination is not allowed," said the Minister. (Translator: Siti Chodijah)
