Jakarta, InfoPublik - The Financial Services Authority (OJK) together with the Ministry of Health, the DKI Jakarta Provincial Health Office and the Non-Bank Financial Industry Association (IKNB) held a COVID-19 Vaccination Program for the elderly and IKNB frontliners.
The activity which was held at the Bidakara Hotel, South Jakarta, on Monday, 27 April was a joint effort to fight against the COVID-19 and accelerate national economic recovery.
Previously, OJK had also held COVID-19 vaccinations for workers in the banking and capital market industries, which was attended by President Joko Widodo.
In the official Instagram account of OJK Chairman of the Board of Commissioners Wimboh Santoso, it is said that as many as 413 people, 277 of whom were elderly have been vaccinated in this program. Since last week, the IKNB has also been coordinating the provision of vaccinations for educators, health workers and the elderly with a total of more than 2000 people.
"The OJK and the financial sector are ready to help protect the public and help improve the economy," Wimboh said in his Instagram account, Tuesday, 27 April.
According to him, OJK together with the financial industry will create a special program in which the financial industry will serve as a hub for the distribution of vaccinations, not only to financial sector employees, but also to their relatives and customers. He hoped that this program will be realized in the near future.
