Home Minister never interviewed about Jakarta regional budget

Jakarta, InfoPublik- Home Ministry’s Information Center head who is also Politics and General Government acting director general Bahtiar ensured that Home Minister M.Tito Karnavian never conducted any interview with Indocomm, an online media, regarding the 2020 Jakarta Province regional budget.

"I confirm that Home Minister also never conducted interviews with other media to discuss Jakarta Province regional budget specifically, let alone giving a detailed statement," Bahtiar said in his written statement, Monday (04/11/2019).

He explained that the minister has been paying proper respect to the process going on in Jakarta Regional Government.

"Home Minister also iterated that the regional government and legislative council are in the process of addressing the regional budget and he refused to intervene. The said in-depth interview with Indocomm is a hoax since minister Tito never conveys any statement as written by Indocomm,” he said.

Home Ministry will evaluate the draft regional budget after being formally submitted by the regional government to the ministry.
