Jakarta, InfoPublik – Deli Serdang District Prosecutor’s Joint Team of Intelligence & Special Crime arrested Awaluddin Siregar, the fugitive suspect of credit grant with fictitious collateral object deposit by PT Bank Sumut’s Tanjung Morawa Branch in 2013.
He is the 62nd fugitive that was arrested by the Attorney General's Office (AGO) in 2019. The fugitive was arrested in Bogor Regency, West Java, said AGO’s Legal Information Center in a statement on Monday (5/27).
The suspect, being escorted by the joint team, was immediately transported from Jakarta to Kualanamu, Deli Serdang after the arrest.
To undergo further legal proceedings, the suspect was immediately detained at Lubuk Pakam Class II B Penitentiary.
Through Tangkap Buron (Fugitive Hunt) program, the AGO targets each High Prosecutor's Office to at least apprehend one fugitive each month. (Translator: Erik Limantara)
