BNN Confiscates 200 Kg of Narcotics in Bekasi

Jakarta, InfoPublik- The Indonesian National Narcotics Agency (BNN) confiscated 200 kilograms of narcotics in Bekasi, West Java.

BNN’s Deputy of Eradication, Ins. Gen. Arman Depari, in his statement on Sunday (12/5), said that the total seized evidence was about 200 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine, ecstasy, and happy five.

In addition to the narcotics, BNN officers also confiscated other evidence in the form of a truck, a car, a motorcycle and a communication device (mobile phone). The officers also apprehended two suspects, namely FAJ and Zul. This case was revealed after a truck originating from Pekanbaru, Riau Province, aroused suspicion.

The vehicle exited Bintara Bekasi toll gate and proceeded to Tambun. “The perpetrators then unloaded coconuts and stored them in a grocery store before a team raided and inspected the location. Around 100kg of methamphetamine stored in a cupboard were discovered," Arman said.

From FAJ’s statement, it was revealed that more evidence was stored in the other suspect, Zul’s, rent house in Keranji area, Bekasi. Officers conducted a search and again found 97 packets of crystal methamphetamine.
