Jakarta, InfoPublik - The National Police swore to take firm action against anyone involved in terrorist groups.
Previously, a Jamaah Ansharut Daulah (JAD)-linked terrorist suspect Ahmad Aulia (30) arrested in South Sulawesi admitted that he took oath of allegiance before M, former Secretary-General of Islam Defender Front (FPI).
National Police's Public Relations Bureau head Brig. Gen. Dwi Hartono added it occured in 2015. Police Counterterrorism Special Detachment 88 (Densus 88) is still investigating this matter.
"Densus 88 will investigate those who have involvement in accordance with the provisions of rules and regulations," he said in a virtual press conference, Friday, 5 February.
Previously, terrorist suspect Ahmad was arrested by Densus 88 on 6 January. He was detained by South Sulawesi Police after joining a mass oath of allegiance to ISIS.
The detachment then transferred Ahmad and 18 other terrorist suspects from Makassar to Jakarta on Thursday, 4 February. It also brought seven terrorist suspects from Gorontalo to Jakarta.
