Jakarta, InfoPublik—The Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced as of Sunday (6/28/2020) that a total of 1,102 Indonesian citizens abroad has been confirmed of Covid-19. This number increased from 1,100 people the previous day.
"287 Indonesian citizens are still undergoing treatment, 739 have recovered, and 76 passed away from Covid-19," the Ministry of Foreign Affairs wrote in its official website.
Detail of the Indonesian citizen confirmed of Covid-19 includes 180 cruise ship crew members (ABK) on a number of cruise ships. Five of them passed away, 21 were in treatment and in stable condition, and 154 have recovered.
In Malaysia, 167 Indonesian citizens are positive. Two passed away, 118 were stable, and 47 have recovered.
Saudi Arabia recorded 162 cases of Covid-19 involving Indonesian citizens. Of these, 83 were stable, 46 were recovered, and 33 people passed away.
In Kuwait, 89 Indonesians were exposed to Covid-19. Three of them passed away, seven were in stable condition, and 79 had recovered.
There are 81 Indonesian citizens in the United States who tested positive for the new coronavirus, including 16 people who passed away. Indonesian citizens who are undergoing treatment are 17 people and 48 others have been declared cured.
The 75 Indonesian citizens in India who were declared infected by Covid-19, have all been declared recovered.
There are 74 Indonesians in Qatar who are contracted with the virus. One of them passed away, six were in stable condition, and 67 others have recovered.
In the United Arab Emirates, 54 Indonesian citizens tested positive for the new type of coronavirus. Five of them passed away, seven were in stable condition, and 42 had recovered.
The total Indonesian citizens contracted with Covid-19 in Singapore reached 52 people. Two of them passed away, three were stable, and 47 had recovered.
Pakistan recorder 33 confirmed cases. One person is still being treated, while the rest have recovered.
In the UK, 20 Indonesians were exposed to Covid-19. Three of them passed away and 17 others were cured.
Russia confirmed 19 Indonesians contracted with Covid-19. All of them have been declared recovered.
In Spain, 13 Indonesian citizens confirmed to have been contracted with the new type of coronavirus have been completely cured.
There are 12 positive cases of Indonesian citizens in Germany. One of them passed away, four were in stable condition, and seven have recovered.
The Netherlands and the Vatican recorded eight Covid-19 cases involving Indonesian citizens. In the Netherlands, four people passed away, one was stable, and three were cured. Meanwhile, all confirmed cases of Indonesian citizens in the Vatican have fully recovered.
In Brunei Darussalam, all five Indonesian citizens have been declared cured. South Korea also recorded five cases of confirmed Indonesian citizens, where one recovered and four others were stable.
There are four Indonesian citizens in Canada exposed to the new type of coronavirus. All of them are still in treatment and in stable condition.
Four Indonesian citizens in France have been tested positive. One person is still being treated and three others have recovered.
Each of the three Indonesian citizens in China, especially Macau, Italy, and Taiwan, are confirmed positive of covid-19. All of them have been declared cured.
In Australia, Belgium, Japan, Cambodia, Mexico, Oman, and Turkey, two Indonesian citizens are confirmed positive of Covid-19. Two Indonesian citizens in Australia were stable and two Indonesian citizens in Belgium, Japan, and Cambodia have recovered.
One Indonesian citizen have recovered and one other is stable each in Mexico and Oman. While in Turkey, one recovered and one passed away.
In Bahrain, Chile, Ecuador, Ethiopia, the Philippines, Finland, Hong Kong, Ireland, the Maldives, Northern Macedonia, Egypt, Kazakhstan, Sweden, and Thailand one Indonesian citizen is confirmed positive. Indonesian citizens in Chile, the Philippines, Hong Kong, the Maldives, Egypt and Sweden are still being treated with stable conditions, while those in the rest other countries have been cured.
Previously, Indonesia is seeking regulations to ease the cross-border restrictions with countries hit by coronavirus (Covid-19) or travel bubble. It aims to accommodate important business trips in the midst of the corona virus pandemic.
Several countries have begun discussions about the arrangement of travel bubbles that will take place in stages and be monitored. Health protocols are key element in the discussion of the plan to establish this travel bubble. And like other countries, Indonesia is currently exploring the possibility of having travel bubble arrangement for important business trips with a number of countries," said Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi.
