President Ensures Covid-19 Information Transparent and Open

Jakarta, InfoPublik--President Joko Widodo ensured that the government has given open and transparent information and data related to current development and management of Covid-19 outbreak in the country.

"The government never intended to cover any Covid-19-related data and information," said the President through a video conference held on Monday (20/4).

According to the President, the government given all the information related to the outbreak of the Covid-19 in accordance with the actual development in the field. Everything is published openly and transparently everyday through a press conference convened by related government institution.

"We have been open on every data and information on Covid-19 to every party," he said.

Previously the President ordered central and regional governments to have comprehensively integrated data on the number of residents who are suspected to have been contracted with the Coronavirus Disease 2019.

"Data of Covid-19 from all ministries to regional governments shall be integrated," he conferred.

Such information includes the number of patients who are confirmed positive of Covid-19, the number of Persons Under Investigations (ODP), the number of suspects (PDP), the number of recovered patients, and the number of fatalities.

This data should be updated regularly in accordance with the latest actual development in the field. Presentation of such information is aimed at informing Indonesian people about the important highlight about the actual condition in the country, from time to time.
