Jakarta, InfoPublik - House of Representatives (DPR RI) Commission I Vice Chairman Tubagus Hasanuddin stated that there were three reasons for House Commission I to refusethe discussion of the budget for Cyber Body and National Encryption Agency (BSSN) after a working meeting between House Commission I and the National Encryption Agency (Lemsaneg), represented by the Chief Secretary on Monday (9/4).
Firstly, BSSN has not been definitively established, so there is no official responsible for budget yet. Secondly, BSSN's main tasks and functions have not been listed. "The tasks and functions must be clarified first. Otherwise, how do we calculate the budget?" said Tubagus Hasan.
Thirdly, the organization structure, how many deputies or directors would use the allocated budget and who would be responsible for the budget in this agency later, is not yet clear.
On the basis of the above, the House Commission I agreed that the government immediately complete the organizational structure, tasks and functions, and official appointment first, so that each rupiah used could be accounted for and the results would be based on performance.
Previously, the Head of Lemsaneg proposed that the budget allocation of BSSN in 2018 was Rp3,042,698,169,000. (Translator: Erik Limantara)
