Jakarta, InfoPublik – Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) received Rp5.4 Trillion of Revised State Budget 2017. The budget will be spent to improve infrastructures at border areas and outer islands, primary weapons defense system, and terrorism countermeasures.
“In the working meeting, TNI and the House of Representatives’ Commission I agree on the budget allocation of Rp5.4 trillion," TNI commander Gen. Gatot Nurmantyo told the press after accompanying Defense Minister Ryamizard Ryacudu in the meeting at the House’s building, Jakarta, Tuesday (7/25) evening.
Gen. Gatot Nurmantyo explained that the agreed spending would be allocated to each Defense Ministry’s Unit of Organization (UO) and TNI. The details are Rp1.1 trillion for Defense Ministry, Rp900 billion for TNI Headquarters, Rp1 trillion for the Army, Rp1 trillion for the Navy, and Rp1.2 trillion for the Air Force. “The proposed budget has been approved,” he concluded.
