Official Wealth Report a Good Start for Good Governance: ESDM Minister

Jakarta, InfoPublik –Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) minister Ignasius Jonan considered official wealth report (LHKPN) is a good start in building Good Governance.

" I believe LHKPN is not the only measure, but this is a very good start," said Jonan in his opening speech for Official wealth report Dissemination in Jakarta, Monday (4/10).

In 2016, the compliance rate of official wealth report delivery in ESDMministry reached 100 percent, where 926 officials have submitted their official wealth report to the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK).Thus, the Ministry was appointed as one of the pilot project for the implementation of electronic official wealth report 2017 in ministries/institutions.

Jonan added that the official wealth report is an effective way of preventing corruption as it can rationalize the number of employees or the state apparatus and income. 

Jonan revealed that he instructed senior officials from Echelon I to Echelon IV, specialized staffs, the Minister of ESDM’s expert staffs, Commitment Maker Officials (PPK), Procurement Committee, Member of the Procurement Services Unit (ULP), Technical Inspectors, Proxy of Budget User (KPA) to submit their official wealth report.

The dissemination was attended by the ESDM Minister, ESDM Deputy Minister, BPH Migas head, Primary and Associate Senior Officials, as well as Commitment Maker Officials in the Ministry. Also presented as guest speaker, LHKPN Director of Registration and Inspection of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Cahya Hardianto Harefa and KPK’s LHKPN Investigation Team Kunto Ariawan.
