DPR targets Election Draft Bill to Complete in April

Jakarta, InfoPublik – House of Representatives Speaker Setya Novanto stated that to improve the quality of the organization of election, the House will soon finalize the Election draft Bill in April 2017.

"The House has set a target to finalize Elections draft Bill in April, so that every citizen is guaranteed to be able to excercise their rights to vote for leaders," said Setya in the Plenary Session in Jakarta, Thursday (2/23).

The House appreciated the organization of Simultaneous Regional Elections in 101 regions that run without conflict. "The House appreciated the Simultaneous Regional Elections organization in 101 regions that run safe and sound," he said.

Hence, it is expected that the second round of regional elections will be well-organized as well.
