Jakarta, InfoPublik- The National Police continues investigating the Indonesian haj pilgrims passport scams case via the Philippines.

According to the National Police spokesperson Insp. Gen Boy Rafli Amar, the number of suspects in the haj passport scams could possibly increase. National Police have now named seven suspects. Every suspect had specific role. The initial of the suspects are HAS, BMDW, MNA, HMT, HF aka A, HAH aka A, and ZAP. ”We suspect that they had some specific roles which will be further revealed from the examination, so the number of the suspects is likely to increase," said Boy in Jakarta, Monday (9/12).

According to Boy, the syndicate allegedly has been conducting the business for long enough. "We are trying to fathom how many times they had committed the crimes," he said.

Boy explained that the National Police still investigating the case. He confirmed that the police will do their best for the congregation that have been threatened to be prevented to return to Indonesia. (Translator: Erik Limantara)
