Jakarta, InfoPublik - Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform Ministry (Kemenpan RB) is advised to discuss with the Indonesian Civil Servants Corps (KORPRI) before rationalization.
Discussion is needed to ensure that the measures taken are appropriate and to avoid controversy. "KORPRI can help formulate the appropriate policy as well as disseminate the policy accross 34 provinces and 514 regencies/cities," said Korpri National Executive Board (DPN) chairman Zudan Arief Fakrullloh in his office, Monday (6/6).
According to him, Kemenpan RB shall finalize the concept of rationalization measurably and transparently as well as conduct initial report to the President.
"Local governments must also perform initial mapping to measure overstaffing," he said.
He considered that the government must be consistent in providing trainings for civil servants in order to increase their performances according to the State Civil Apparatus (ASN) Law, at least 10 days in a year.
"Korpri will advocate ASN in accordance with Article 126 of ASN Law when this government policy is disadvantageous to the ASN," he added.
Previously, Kemenpan RB is planning to rationalize civil servants with low qualifications and competence, as well as those with poor performance and discipline. (Translator: Erik Limantara)
