Menkopolhukam Heading to China to Discuss Security Issues

Jakarta, InfoPublik - Coordinating Political, Legal and Security Affairs Minister (Menkopolhukam) Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan was heading to China yesterday afternoon, April 4. The three-day visit is planned to discuss security issues, terrorism and Cyber Defense that growing in both countries.

"This visit is actually in the context of our regular meeting. My Chinese counterpart came to Indonesia earlier and now is my turn to visit them," said Luhut to reporters at his office, Monday (25/4).

According to Luhut, in addition to meet Chinese Coordinating Political, Legal, and Security Affairs Ministry, he is also scheduled to meet Chinese Prime Minister.  "Besides discussing security, terrorism, and cyber defense issues, I will also meet Prime Minister of China. I am leaving this afternoon, tomorrow I will have bilateral meeting, and the next day I will meet Prime Minister, on Wednesday afternoon I will return to Jakarta," he said. (translator: Sugiarti)
