Jakarta, InfoPublik - The Investment Coordinating Agency (BKPM) launched the Three-Hour Investment Licensing Service 8+1 and the Importation of Goods Facility Through the Green Line Acceleration Program.
Franky Sibarani, the Head of Indonesian Investment Coordinating Agency (BKPM), said the service is a breakthrough from the government to facilitate the investors who will invest and expand their investment in Indonesia. "This is an investment breakthrough that provides nine products in which one of them is land information from the Ministry of Agrarian and Spatial Planning," he said on Monday (1/11).
The service was launched by the Vice President Jusuf Kalla at the BKPM office in Jakarta. Also present in the event were ministers from the Working Cabinet, among others, the Minister of Agrarian and Spatial Planning/Head of National Land Agency (BPN) Ferry Mursyidan Baldan, the Trade Minister Thomas Lembong, the Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Darmin Nasution, the Minister of Industry Saleh Husin, the Director General of Customs Heru Pambudi, and the Chairman of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce (Kadin) Roesan Roeslani.
The licenses that will be granted to the investors in this service are investment license, Tax Identification Number (NPWP), Deed of Establishment and Approval Decree from the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights, Company Registration, Foreign Workers Employment Permit, Plan of Foreign Workers Employment, Producer Importer Identification Number, and Customs Identification Number (NIK).
Mr. Sibarani said there are several requirements that must be met by investors to get this service, including minimum investment value of Rp100 billion or worth of US$7.5 million and/or plan to employ at least 1,000 domestic workers. (Translator: Erik Limantara)
