BPJS Ketenagakerjaan Receives Best Employer Awards 2016

Jakarta, InfoPublik - The Health Care and Social Security Agency (BPJS) was awarded Best Employer Award 2016 based on an assessment conducted by AON Hewitt.

The results of this assessment was obtained from the survey conducted by AON Hewitt to employees of The Workers Social Security Agency (BPJS Ketenagakerjaan) some time ago. "The survey showed that employees of BPJS Ketenagakerjaan have a high dedication in working because of the support of management policies in the management of human capital," said BPJS Ketenagakerjaan General and Human Resources Director of Naufal Mahfouz after receiving the award at the awarding ceremony held at Hotel Indonesia Kempinski, Jakarta, Tuesday (9/6).

The award was given as a token of appreciation to BPJS Ketenagakerjaan in managing human resources to excel in giving more value to the institution, strong culture engagement and creating leaders who inspire the employees.

According to Naufal, in managing more than 4,500 employees spread in all working units in Indonesia, BPJS Ketenagakerjaan manages human resources by using an integrated and competency-based system of human capital and is supported by Human Capital Information System (HCIS) technology, ranging from recruitment, assessment center, performance assessment and talent management.

With the systems that have been built, BPJS Ketenagakerjaan is able to prepare competent human resources and meet the necessary criteria in meeting the long-term strategic needs in accordance with the institutional objectives and the expected productivity measures, as well as the competency requirements in the future.

Naufal said that planning on human resource demand and development development is important to meet public expectations in providing the best services to the customers. To get qualified human resources, BPJS Ketenagakerjaan also built BPJS Ketenagakerjaan Institute which plays an important role in the optimization of human resource development.

He said that the BPJS Ketenagakerjaan Institute is one of the facilities for human resources competency learning and development. It is also expected to be the place for social security research implementation for the development of social security in Indonesia. "The Institute is also equipped with supporting facilities such as a training center building with adequate infrastructure," said Naufal.

This best employer award is expected to be able to give new impetus to the BPJS Ketenagakerjaan in providing excellent service and comprehensive protection for all workers in Indonesia, said Naufal. (Translator: Erik Limantara)
