“In addition, consuming diet rich in vegetables and fruits, getting 30 minutes of physical activities at the minimum, and seeking immediate treatment when ill. Those who recently traveled to China are advised to avoid visiting fish markets,” said the Health Minister on Friday (10/1).

Terawan also said that those who felt like they have interacted with people who had the symptoms such as fever, cough, and breathing difficulty and those who show such symptom are advised to immediately get treatment at the nearest health facility.

“One of the preventive measure to minimize the risk is to follow basic personal hygiene habits including washing hands. This needs to be encouraged,” he said.
