Kuala Kapuas, InfoPublik – Thousands of people filled the Panunjung Tarung Stadium area in Kuala Kapuas to chant prayers together with Al Habib Syech bin Abdul Qadir Assegaf from Solo City in the Kapuas Bersholawat event held by the Kapuas Regency Government, Thursday (27/6/2024).
They chanted prayers in an orderly manner led by Habib Syech accompanied by KH Zhofaruddin or Guru Udin from Samarinda and Guru Mahmud Syarkani Al Banjary from Balikpapan as well as a number of ulama/teachers.
This activity is the peak of the series of events for the 218th anniversary of Kuala Kapuas City and the 73rd anniversary of the Kapuas Regency Government, where a sea of enthusiastic worshipers flooded the Panunjung Tarung Stadium to take part in the blessings of this Kapuas Bersholawat event.
In his speech, Acting Regent of Kapuas Erlin Hardi hoped that the Kapuas Bersholawat event would be a means to improve the quality of faith and piety towards Allah SWT and increase love and strengthen longing for the Prophet Muhammad SAW
"Through Kapuas Bersholawat we can express our gratitude for the gifts, blessings and progress of Kapuas Regency at this time,"imbuhnya.
Of course, according to the Acting Regent, this can be used as a moment to strengthen the bonds of friendship, harmony, unity and oneness between all communities. "Hopefully this event will provide blessings in building a better Kapuas Regency," he said briefly.
Meanwhile, the Deputy Governor of Central Kalimantan, Edy Pratowo, who was also present at the event, expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the Kapuas Regency Government for carrying out the event.
"This is in line with and in line with the hopes of the Provincial Government, which also wants all regencies/cities to continue implementing the spread of Islam through Sholawat," said Edy Pratowo. (MC Kapuas District/hmskmf/eyv)
