Nusa Dua, InfoPublik - "Cause you're sky, cause you're a sky full of stars, I'm gonna give you heart, cause you're a sky, cause you're a sky full of stars, 'cause you light up the path" Vice Chairman of the Indonesian Agency for Creative Economy Ricky Joseph Pesik cited "A Sky Full of Stars" song lyrics in his presentation as a keynote speaker at the Friends of Creative Economy (FCE) discussion which was a series of events of the World Conference on Creative Economy (WCCE).

"Let 's make creative industries become the star of the world," Ricky appealed participants when raising issues about the future of the creative economy. He explained the creative economy inclusiveness before delegations form various countries and said that this conference was expected to produce commitments and recommendations that would be brought to the UN assembly. Prior to the conference, two preparatory meetings were held in December 2017 in Bandung and May 2018 in Jakarta.

"I encourage all parties to work together to create a more conducive environment to foster creativity," he said. According to him, discussions between stakeholders are needed to support the creative economy ecosystem.

The World Conference on Creative Economy (WCCE) is the first international conference to discuss the creative economy. The event held at the Bali Nusa Dua Convention Center (BNDCC) on 6-8 November carries the theme Inclusively Creative by raising five main issues, namely social cohesion, regulation, marketing, ecosystems, and financing of the creative industry.
