Minister Puspayoga Inaugurates Pasar Raya Indonesia in The Hague

Jakarta, InfoPublik - Pasar Raya Indonesia organised by the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in The Hague, Netherlands was inaugurated by the Cooperative and SMEs Minister AAGN Puspayoga on Friday (9/2).

Minister Puspayoga said that Pasar Raya Indonesia is showcasing a variety of products from Indonesia. The exhibitors are Indonesian residing in the Netherlands. "This exhibition is considered the appripriate measure for promotion of various Indonesian products. The exhibition is also expected to boost SMEs exports to the Netherlands," he said through an official statement on Saturday (9/3).

Cooperatives and SMEs ministry’s Deputy Production and Marketing  I Wayan Dipta said that during the working visit, Minister Puspayoga is scheduled to meet with Indonesian diaspora. The goal is to ask them to be marketers of Indonesian products in the Netherlands.

Furthermore, Minister Puspayoga is scheduled to have a meeting with SMEs consultants in the Netherlands to obtain feedback on the increasing market of Indonesian SMEs products in the Netherlands and Europe.

I Wayan added that Minister Puspayoga is excited to introduce our archipelago’s coffee, such as coffee from Aceh, Lampung, Bali, East Nusa Tenggara, and other areas. Minister Puspayoga also explained that each region in Indonesia has a distinctive unique taste of coffee. “Mr. Minister will specifically serve and mix Indonesian coffee for foreign guests. Minister Puspayoga wants to show them that Indonesian coffee is one of the best coffees in the world," he explained. (Translator: Wilda Stiana)
