President to Inaugurate Dams in Southeast Sulawesi and Central Java

Jakarta, InfoPublik - President Joko Widodo is scheduled to inaugurate the Ladongi Dam in the East Kolaka Regency of Southeast Sulawesi Province and dialogue with local farmers on the second day of his working visit in this province, Tuesday, 28 December.

From the Haluoleo Air Force Base of South Konawe Regency, the President took off using the Indonesian Air Force Super Puma helicopter to the Ladongi Dam helipad at around 9.20 AM local time.

After attending the inauguration ceremony, President Joko Widodo will board the Indonesian Air Force Super Puma helicopter to return to the Haluoleo Air Force Base. The President will continue his journey to Boyolali Regency of Central Java Province using the Indonesian Presidential Aircraft.

Arriving at the Adi Soemarmo Air Force Base, the President will head to the Pidekso Dam helipad in Wonogiri Regency of Central Java using the Indonesian Air Force Super Puma helicopter. The President is scheduled to inaugurate the Pidekso Dam and dialogue with local farmers.

In the afternoon, the President will return to the Adi Soemarmo Air Force Base in Boyolali Regency and take off to Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base in Jakarta.

Also accompanying the President on the working visit were Minister of Public Works and Public Housing Basuki Hadimuljono, Minister of Investment/ Chairman of Indonesia Investment Coordinating Board Bahlil Lahadalia, Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung, Head of Presidential Secretariat Heru Budi Hartono, Presidential Military Secretary Marsda TNI M. Tonny Harjono, Presidential Security Detail Commander Maj. Gen. TNI Tri Budi Utomo, and Deputy of Protocol, Press, and Media of the Presidential Secretariat Bey Machmudin.
