Jakarta, InfoPublik - Batam Aero Technic signed an MoU with Batam State Polytechnic regarding human resource development in the field of aircraft maintenance, at Gadjah Mada University Yogyakarta, on Monday (30/1).
Batam Aero Technic is a subsidiary of Lion Air Group, which is engaged in the maintenance and repair of aircraft in Hang Nadim International Airport Batam’s Hangar.
Lion Air Group President Director Edward Sirait in an official statement received on Tuesday (31/1) described that the agreement includes cooperation in human resource development between Batam Aero Technic and Batam State Polytechnic. Both parties agreed to cooperate in educational training, internship program in Batam Aero Technic for Batam State Polytechnic students, the organizing of specialized training class for employees, and job placement for qualified graduates.
"Batam State Polytechnic is one of the best institutions which scores high spirited potential and qualified young engineers. (The MoU) is great for our business development which similar focuses on education and training as Batam State Polytechnic," said Edward Sirait.
He added, with this partnership, Batam Aero Technic can train its engineers in Batam State Polytechnic, as well as getting the best graduates from the college to work and have a career in the company.
The MoU was signed by Batam Aero Technic President Director I Nyoman Rai Pering and Priyono Eko Sanyoto as Batam State Polytechnic’s, and was witnessed by Research, Technology and Higher Education Minister Mohamad Nasir. (Translator: Siti Chodijah)
