While non-aero business such as concessions, room rental, billboards, cargo business, etc contributed Rp2,62 Trillion of the revenues.

In addition, Awaluddin continued, the increase in air passenger flows also triggered by company policies that provide incentives to airlines that open new international routes in a number of airports, as well as for airlines that operate extra flight outside regular hours.
"This positive performance is also supported by the operation of several new terminals in 2016, namely: Terminal 3 at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, New Terminal at Bandung Husein Sastranegara Airport, and Sultan Taha Airport in Jambi ," he said.
Efficiency for better effectiveness, especially in the fourth quarter of 2016 also helped the company to achieve revenues of Rp6.65 trillion. This figure is higher than the company's initial target of Rp6.57 trillion.
In 2016, Angkasa Pura II also had successfully established two new subsidiary companies, PT Angkasa Pura Propertindo (APP) and PT Angkasa Pura Cargo (APK) to increase revenue contribution from non-aero business. "Currently, the revenue contribution from the aero business is still higher than non-aero business. With the establishment of Angkasa Pura Propertindo and Angkasa Pura Cargo, we hope that the contribution of non-aero business will reach 50 percent of the total revenues in 2018," he said.
