Jakarta, InfoPublik - Jakarta Provincial Government set up temporary kiosks for Senen market fire victim vendors. The construction is targeted to be completed in two more months.
DKI Jakarta Acting Governor Sumarsono said all traders will get a temporary kiosk. His administration has set them up in several locations.
"All vendors will be placed in temporary place which currently is being prepared. Block I and Block II will be completed in two months," said Sumasono at Jakarta City Hall, Monday (23/1).
He stated that vendors will be placed in different locations. For gadget vendors in particular will be placed in Block 1 and 2 parking lots.
During the construction of the Temporary kiosks, Sumasono allow vendors to trade around the market area but are urged not to disrupt the traffic and order.
“They can keep doing their business while the temporary kiosks are being constructed as long as they maintainthe order and do not disturb the traffic,” he said.
He added the revitalization of Block V Pasar Senen that was gutted by fire would require a long time since Jakarta city government has to perform a tender process. (Translator: Siti Chodijah)
