Jakarta, InfoPublik – The Indonesian National Police spokesman Boy Rafli Amar visited the Directorate General of Taxation headquarters in South Jakarta to join the tax amnesty program.
The National Police, he said, gives a full support to the program and hopes that it will increase state revenues. "This program is one of the economic structural reforms. It is expected to boost the state revenue," he said in Jakarta, Friday (9/30).
He added that citizens must support the program. “As a citizen, we should support the success of the tax amnesty program,” he stated.
Indonesian National Police Chief Gen. Tito Karnavian had also instructed regional police chiefs to protect every tax officials and taxpayers who filed for tax amnesty. Furthermore, the National Police together with the Directorate General of Taxation and the Attorney General had signed MoU to succeed the program. (Translator: Rina Alexandra)
