Jakarta, InfoPublik - Indonesia Cooperatives and SMEs Ministry is finalizing the opening of Busan Indonesia Center (BIC), which will become a pavilion for the promotion of cooperatives, small and medium enterprise (KUKM) products in Busan, South Korea.
The Ministry’s SecretaryAgus Muharram said that the BIC has requested samples of furniture products to be displayed. The 800m2 land has been prepared in the heart of the city of Busan for product promotion of Indonesian KUKM. "In addition to furniture, South Korean market is also interested in a number of Indonesian products such as fashion, home decoration, handicrafts, bags, and accessories. Currently, Korea has the largest number of expatriates in Indonesia," he said, Tuesday (6/14).
Agus hoped that the KUKM product pavilion in Busan will be able to expand the promotion of Indonesian products in South Korea and contribute to the increase of export value. In addition, BIC is also useful as a mean to attract South Korean investment in Indonesia.
The ministry will invite KUKM stakeholders to participate in the promotion and marketing of their products to South Korea. Busan Indonesia Center is the home of Indonesian promotion and tourism which was established in April 2012 in Busan, South Korea by Prof. Kim Soo Il.
