Jakarta, InfoPublik - PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk or Bank BNI maximizes People's Business Credit (KUR) distribution to business players across Indonesia, especially in West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) province.

This year’s KUR distribution in NTB and surrounding areas was marked by the signing of Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Minister of Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises (CSMEs), Anak Agung Gede Ngurah Puspayoga, with the President Director of BNI, Achmad Baiquni, at the Mandalika Resort Special Economic Zone in NTB last week.

In a written statement received by InfoPublik in Jakarta on Sunday (2/14), Mr. Baiquni is optimistic that KUR will be increased in 2016 at a lighter rate for debtors—at 9%.

From August to December 2015, he continued, BNI had distributed KUR with the amount of more than Rp3 trillion to 12,000 debtors across Indonesia. The number was increased more than 70% compared to 2014.

From January to February 4, 2016, KUR Micro has been channeled to nearly 150 debtors, Retail KUR to 2,213 debtors, and KUR TKI (Indonesian Migrant Worker’s Business Credit) to 124 debtors. It is almost 2,500 debtors in less than two months.

"Total distributed KUR BNI reaches more than Rp500 billion," he said.

According to him, KUR distribution in NTB in 2015 managed by BNI’s Denpasar Office reached above Rp43 billion which was distributed to nearly 200 debtors in the forms of KUR Mikro, Retail KUR, and KUR TKI. Meanwhile, in Bali Nusra region, BNI had distributed KUR worth more than Rp36 billion to more than 140 debtors.

"KUR in NTB is distributed mainly to the sectors that create jobs or productive sectors, namely creative industries, maritime, agriculture, and trade," he concluded. (Translator: Wilda Stiana/Photo Illustration)
