Agriculture Ministry Launches Online and Mobile TTI

Jakarta, InfoPublik – Agriculture Ministry launched Online and Mobile Toko Tani Indonesia (TTI) to provide easier access to public in purchasing food commodities from TTI.

Acting Head of Food Security Agency (BKP) Spudnik Sujono said people can go to http://tti.pertanian.go.id., where they could find the location of TTI and ask about availability of goods.

"These will make distribution easier," said Spudnik on the sidelines of Online TTI launching at TTI Centre, South Jakarta, Monday (13/2).

In addition to Online TTI, Agriculture Ministry will also provide 10 TTI cars which is a mobile TTI store. "This program is expected to run end of March," Spudnik added

Spudnik continued that mobile TTI service area will include low-cost apartment and certain areas . When asked about chance of conflict with local traders, he said that his administration would conduct coordination before running the program. "We can do this with coordination," he said.

In addition, Agriculture Ministry also launched 43 new TTI in Jakarta, after previously-launched 22 TTI, making a total of 65 TTIs in Jakarta.

"The budget disbursed for the development of 1000 TTI and supplier expansion reached Rp45 billion," he said. (Translator: Siti Chodijah)
