Jakarta, InfoPublik – Indonesia Youth and Sports Minister Imam Nahrawi expected that Indonesian rider Rio Haryanto will get a good result at the Bahrain GP.
He also hoped Manor Racing, the team in which Rio is racing, can do its best to combine Rio’s spirit with their sophisticated car engine.
In Bahrain GP Rio will start the race in the 20th position. The Solo-born rookie is benefited after the Renault racer Kevin Magnussen received penalty and demoted to last position, taking Rio to 20th position from his previous 21st position from the qualifying session.
Rio admitted that he was dissappointed with his speed in the qualifying session despite his better starting position than his Australian GP.
"His starting position was better than the first race in Melbourne. Hopefully he will be better at the race," stated Imam in a release received in Jakarta, Sunday (4/3).
Youth and Sports Minister considered Rio has tremendous determination and has been working hard to improve his performance. Therefore, he hoped Manor could support him by providing a good car after having problems in the first race series in Australia.
