Jakarta, InfoPublik – The development of information technology, such as the use of online applications, has become one of the effective efforts to untie congestion in every street of the capital.
Ompreng.com CEO Ary Setiawan offered a ride sharing online-based transport application that enables carpooling for larger group of passengers. The ride sharing application allows six to seven passengers in one vehicle, in accordance with the capacity of the car used. "Passengers shall wait until every seat is occupied before riding," said Ary to InfoPublik in Jakarta, Wednesday (30/3).
According to him, optimizing the number of passengers in one car may become a powerful way to reduce the number of cars driving Jakarta's roads. Currently, most people prefer to ride a car alone. "If one car contains more than three passengers, automatically the number of cars used will bereduced," he said.
He believed that the application to be launched in April this year will become the right way to urge people to drive wisely.
