Cooperatives and SMEs Ministry Holds Capacity Building Training

Jakarta, InfoPublik – Indonesia Cooperatives and SMEs Ministry held a capacity building training for 440 cooperatives and SMEs activists on on 4 – 7 March 2017,  in Jambi.

“The objectives of this training are to create new entrepreneurs, to change the people’s mindset from job seekers to job creators, and to motivate participants to maintain their entrepreneurial spirit,” said The Ministry’s Deputy for Human Resources Development, Prakoso Budi Susetyo, in his statement Tuesday (3/7) in Jakarta.

He stated that becoming an entrepreneur is not easy. Entrepreneurs must be able to bear all possible risks and ready for the certainty of profit and loss in business. 

In his speech, Prakoso reminded participants to be brave in facing failure in performing their business. “Fear tends to deter start-ups from starting their business. Failure is lesson and efforsts shall continue,” he added.

The training was divided into five classes, namely Cooperatives and SMEs Ministry-IBM entrepreneurship training, National Entrepreneurship Movement (GKN) training for farmers and women, cooperatives development strategy training, and cooperatives principles and identity training.
