Tembilahan, InfoPublik – Indragiri Hilir (Inhil) regency will host World Coconut Day in September 2017.
Inhil regent H.M. Wardan hoped this event would increase the value of coconut—the major commodity in the regency.
In World Coconut Day, the committee will hold the International Coconut Festival, meeting, exhibition, and other coconut-related events. The activities will be attended by stakeholders in coconut sector, especially farmers and primary owners of plantations.
“I hope this event will bring positive impact to the community, especially on coconut price in Indragiri Hilir,” Wardan said recently.
The World Coconut Day will make people interested on coconut products—especially businessmen to invest in coconut sectors.
