Indonesian Delegation Promote World Cadet Games 2018

Jakarta, InfoPublik – Indonesian delegation for the International Military Sports Council (IMSC) or Conseil International du Sport Militaire (CISM) promoted World Cadet Games 2018, on the second day of the 4th CISM Asia Meeting at the Discovery Kartika Plaza Hotel of Bali on Tuesday (4/12).
 
Indonesia military sports committee (KOMI) chairman Sultan Janieb, through a written statement on Tuesday (4/12) stated that Indonesian delegate representative Mufti Ade Kusuma promoted the games and stated that KOMI will host the 3rd World Cadet Games in 2018 in Magelang Military Academy and Air Force Academy.
 
The types of sports to be contested at Magelang Military Academy, namely track and field, orienteering and military pentathlon which includes shooting, obstacle running, obstacle swimming, cross country, throwing and obstacle relay race. While the Air Force Academy will host the volleyball, swimming and badminton matches.
 
At the next session of the meeting, Korean delegate representative Lt. Col. Lee Jang Hoo presented the evaluation on the 6th CISM World Games 2015, while Oman representative Lieutenant Colonel Khalid Al Jabri elaborated the qualification for the Asian Football 2017.
 
Later on, the United Arab Emirates representative Lt. Col. Khalid Abdulnasser explained the development of orienteering in UAE countries and suggested Orienteering game to be contested between countries in the Asian region.
 
The third day of the meeting, Wednesday, April 13, 2016 is scheduled for voting on the recommendations of proposal and decisions of the 4th CISM Asia meeting in Bali. (Translator: Penni Patmawati Rusman)
