Minister of Cooperatives and SMEs To Attend National Press Day 2016

Jakarta, InfoPublik - Minister of Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises (KUKM) Anak Agung Gede Ngurah Puspayoga stated that he will attend the National Working Conference of the Indonesian Journalists Association (PWI) and will explain the importance of the role of KUKM.

It was stated while Puspayoga was visiting the Secretariat of the National Press Day (HPN) 2016 Committee at Press Council Building, Jakarta, Wednesday (1/27).
 
Minister Puspayoga was welcomed by the Chairman of Central PWI Margiono, the Chairman of the Executive Committee of HPN 2016 Teguh Santosa, and other committee members. "I will be present at HPN 2016 [February 7 ed.], my other agenda will be postponed," said Mr. Puspayoga.
 
Mr. Santosa explained in the meeting about the event’s agenda that will take place in West Nusa Tenggara Province.
 
One of the series of activities on the first day, February 5, 2016, will be the Cooperative and Entrepreneurship Training at Hotel Lombok Raya, Mataram. The event will be hosted by the Ministry of KUKM in order to equip press’ cooperative manager.
 
Minister Puspayoga himself will attend the celebration of HPN 2016 on February 7 and is scheduled to attend the National Working Conference of PWI in Indonesia at Hotel Lombok Raya, Mataram. "The Minister will present on February 7 at the National Working Conference of PWI in Indonesia," said Mr. Santosa.
 
The Minister’s arrival at the HPN Secretariat Office which is also the Central PWI Office was also to hand over the Deed of Establishment of the Central PWI Journalists’ Main Cooperative which was directly received  by the Chairman of the Central PWI Margiono. Minister Puspayoga said that cooperative in Central PWI can potentially grow rapidly and can benefit the Central PWI’s journalists.
 
“This PWI Journalist Main Cooperative is an excellent program. In the future we will also encourage media companies to have cooperatives to support the welfare of their journalists," said Mr. Margiono. (Translator: Erik Limantara)
