Jakarta, InfoPublik - Ministry of Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises (CSMEs) will launch an online system, the Cooperatives Legal Entity Administration Service System, to serve the cooperatives by online.
Ministry CSMEs’ Deputy of Institutionalization Choirul Djamhari said the system will answer public complaints regarding the difficult, long, and complicated cooperatives establishment permit procedure.
"We respond to the complaints by using IT-based system in order to make an easy, cheap and quick cooperatives establishment process. This IT-based system will be released on April 8, 2016," said Mr. Djamhari in Jakarta, Tuesday (1/19).
He stated by implementing this online system, legal entity attestation process will be accelerated from 90 days to a maximum of seven days. Initially, the process of cooperatives name duplication checking, including rejection and revision processes, took a longer time because it was done manually.
With the new program, the cooperatives name checking process will be much faster by notary. Legal entity data that are still decentralized by area or region will be centralized nationally.
Yet, he added, this acceleration must be supported by the complete required documents.
"We will provide the notary and hold a coordination meeting with the Indonesian Notary Association to improve this system," he explained. (Translator: Erik Limantara)
