Jakarta, InfoPublik – Youth Town Hall is a prelude for the involvement of youth in health development. Indonesian Health Minister Nila Moeloek said that the event involved thousands of youth from various regions in Indonesia.

This event is expected to capture aspirations relating the youth. “We expect to receive feedback, we want to listen to the voice from various perspectives,” said Minister Nila through her official statement to InfoPublik, Thursday (21/3).

In addition, Minister Nila also hoped to involve youth in health development. The involvement of Indonesian youth must be proven by achieving demographic bonus of 2020-2030.

The quality of health of Indonesian youth needs to be maintained to ensure the success of demographic bonus in giving positive impacts for Indonesia. “Indonesia has 63 million youth, 20 percent of the total Indonesia's population. A special strategy is required to maximize the role of the youth as citizens. I believe that they are willing to devote themselves to Indonesia,” said Minister Nila.

Imam Nahrawi also reminded Germas to be a healthy nation. “One of the spirits of Germas is how to move us all as a nation, not only psychologically, but also physically, which is also important,” he said.
