Jakarta, InfoPublik – Indonesian Home Affairs Ministry encourages the state civil apparatus (ASN) to use digital transactions.

"In the future, all students of Institute of Domestic Administration (IPDN), as well as state civil apparatus within the Ministry of Home Affairs and the National Border Management Authority (BNPP) will use same ID card which holds various functions, such as for non-cash payments. "Let’s make the best out of this electronic system in our daily activities," Home Affairs Minister Tjahjo Kumolo said in Jakarta on Monday (17/6).

The Minister also stated that his administration expressed their gratitude to PT. Bank Rakyat Indonesia Persero Tbk. (BRI).

"Hopefully this cooperation will always increase our concern in creating a new system that is effective and efficient," he said.

The cooperation begins with a symbolic handover of Affinity Card for Officials and state civil apparatus within the Ministry of Home Affairs and BNPP.

Affinity Card is a card-based electronic money  used as identity card for employees in the Ministry of Home Affairs, IPDN, and BNPP which can be used for digital transactions.
