BNI Syariah Concludes Four Business Agreements at ISEF 2019 Opening

Jakarta, InfoPublik - BNI Syariah recorded four business agreements in a business matching event at the opening of Indonesia Sharia Economic Festival (ISEF) 2019 at the Jakarta Convention Center, Jakarta, Wednesday (13/11) which was attended by Indonesia’s Vice President Ma'ruf Amin. The Indonesia Sharia Economic Festival (ISEF) 2019 carried the theme "Embracing Sharia Economic for Sustainable Growth" is slated to take place on 12-16 November 2019.

Also present at the ISEF business matching event were BNI Syariah SME and Commercial Business Director Dhias Widhiyati, Indonesia Halal Tourism Association (PPHI) chairman Riyanto Sofyan, Go Halal Go Managing Director Hega Bernoza, Benefide Commissioner Afia Rahma Fitriati, and PT Modern Industrial Estate Managing Director Pascall Wilson.

BNI Syariah concluded business agreements with four institutions in Jakarta (11/13), including the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between BNI Syariah and halal e-commerce namely Go Halal Go and Benefits on the use of BNI Syariah’s product, Hasanah Card.

BNI Syariah and Go Halal Go’s agreement consists of three points, namely business acquisition of BNI iB Hasanah Card business on Go Halal Go platform visitors; the use of BNI iB Hasanah Card as a means of payment; and the use of BNI Syariah products and services.

In the second collaboration, BNI Syariah and Benefide concluded an agreement related to the acquisition of BNI iB Hasanah Card and provision of customer data on website users applying for BNI iB Hasanah Card.

The third agreement between BNI Syariah and the Indonesian Halal Tourism Association (PPHI) in terms of the use of BNI Syariah products and services by PPHI members. PPHI is an aggregatorin the development of halal tourism that facilitates all halal tourism businesses in Indonesia in the fields of hospitality, travel, shopping centers, restaurants, SPA, and others related to the halal tourism industry.

Similar to that of BNI Syariah and PPHI, BNI Syariah also concluded an agreement with PT Modern Industrial Estate in the use of BNI Syariah products and services. PT Modern Industrial Estate is the developer of the Modern Halal Valley Industrial area.

BNI Syariah SME & Commercial Business Director Dhias Widhiyati said the business agreements reached at the ISEF 2019 is expected to increase public inclusion in sharia banking products and halal industry growth in Indonesia. "Through these collaborations, BNI Syariah takes part in supporting the growth of halal ecosystem in Indonesia," said Dhias.

Related to this cooperation, BNI Syariah has featured products that can be utilized by the whole community including consumer financing to purchase houses or vehicles, financing cards (BNI iB Hasanah Card), and productive financing (working capital, investment, and micro). Supported by technology and the Sharia channeling office (SCO) network from BNI, BNI Syariah is ready to provide the best, halal services, in accordance with sharia principles.

Concurring with the Indonesia Sharia Economic Festival (ISEF) 2019, the opening ceremony of the 14th Islamic Financial Services Board (IFSB) Summit 2019 was held on the same day, officially opened by the IFSB Secretary General Bello Lawal Danbatta. The event saw a submission of token of appreciation from IFSB to BNI Syariah Director Abdullah Firman Wibowo, followed by a visit to BNI Syariah's booth.
